Why Battle Born exists
I built Battle Born around a simple idea. If I tell someone I'll be there, I should be there. If I give a price, you should understand it before the work starts. And if my name is on the job, I should be willing to stand behind the result.
That comes from nearly two decades in the Georgia Army National Guard, where I still serve today, and from years of hands-on work. I'd rather solve a problem the right way than explain why it didn't get done.
Part of the community
Loganville isn't a service area on a map for my family. We live here, our daughter is in the local schools, and outside of work I coach her recreational volleyball team. Coaching reinforces the same things I care about in business: preparation, clear communication, patience, and keeping your word when people are counting on you.
One owner. One standard.
Battle Born is owner-operated on purpose. I'm not sending a crew you've never met after someone else sold you the job. The phone number on this site rings my phone. The person who talks through the work with you is the person standing in your driveway. That leaves me nowhere to hide from the quality of the work, which is exactly how I want it.
What a job with us actually looks like
We confirm the day when you book. The morning of, I text you a window. I show up on time with the gear loaded the night before, walk the property with you or on my own if you're at work, and photograph anything that was already there before I touch a thing.
Then the work starts. Plants get pre-rinsed and anything that needs covering gets covered. Shaded areas get an algaecide pre-treatment so the green doesn't come back in three weeks. The surface cleaner handles the wide concrete at the right pressure for the material, and edges, joints, and coping get hand-detailed. When it's done I do another walk-around and send you a photo report, before and after. The price you saw on the website is the number on the invoice.
What we focus on today
Right now Battle Born focuses on concrete, hardscape, and flatwork: driveways, walkways, sidewalks, patios, pool decks, gutter cleaning, and small commercial flatwork. I'd rather build the equipment, process, and experience to do each service right than advertise every exterior cleaning service before I can deliver it at the standard I expect. House and roof soft-washing will come onto the menu when the setup is ready for them.
Two things I won't do in the meantime. I won't blow out your paver joints with a wand. And I won't take a job that needs a soft-wash rig I don't have yet. If your job calls for something I don't offer, I'll tell you straight and point you to what to look for.
Straightforward pricing
Pricing is published because you shouldn't have to wonder whether the number changes depending on who answers the door. Standard flatwork is $0.15 per square foot with a $275 minimum per visit, and most driveways land right at that minimum. If something needs extra treatment or falls outside the standard scope, you'll hear about it before the work starts, never on the invoice.
Built for the long term
Battle Born is being built one job, one neighborhood, and one customer at a time. The goal isn't to be the company that says yes to everything. It's to be the local company people are comfortable recommending because I showed up when I said I would, communicated clearly, respected the property, and did the job right.
