Why this matters

Wood and hardscape both punish lazy operators. Too much pressure splinters cedar or blows out paver joints; too little leaves the algae. We dial each surface to the right combination of chemistry and pressure for the material.

What's included

  • Surface-specific pressure dialed in for wood and hardscape type
  • Algaecide kill before pressure to prevent regrowth
  • Paver joint sand replacement option after wash
  • Optional stain prep package for wood decks

The SOP

Every job runs the same way, in the same order, every time. Here's the standard.

  1. Identify surface. Pressure-treated, cedar, IPE, composite, flagstone, paver, or brick.
  2. Algaecide treatment. Kill green growth at the source.
  3. Pressure-rinse. Dialed to the surface, never above safe PSI.
  4. Brighten (optional). Oxalic-acid wood brightener if staining next.
FAQ

Deck & Patio — answered.

If it's not here, call us — we'll answer in plain language.

Ask us a question
Can you pressure wash a wood deck without damaging it?
Yes — with the right pressure for the wood type. We use 1,500-2,000 PSI for pressure-treated, less for cedar, and a soft wash for composite. Damage comes from operators using the same setting on every surface.
Should I stain my deck after pressure washing?
If you plan to, wait 48-72 hours after the wash for the wood to fully dry. We offer a brightener add-on that opens the wood grain to accept stain better. Stain itself we leave to a finish carpenter.
Can you clean paver patios without blowing out the joint sand?
Yes. We use a 16-inch surface cleaner at the right PSI for pavers — it cleans evenly without lifting the joint sand. If joints have already failed, we can replace polymeric sand as an add-on after the wash.
Do you clean flagstone and brick patios?
Yes. Flagstone cleans with a softer pressure setting plus algaecide; brick is similar to concrete but with attention to mortar joints. Both come back to original color in a single visit.

April 2026

"Nick showed up exactly when he said. The driveway looks 20 years younger and the house wash got rid of the algae streaks I'd given up on. The before/after pictures he sent are unreal. Already booked him for the spring."

"I was about to pay $7k to replace my roof because of the black streaks. A neighbor said try a soft wash first. Nick did it in 90 minutes for $525. Roof looks new. Saved me a fortune. He's the only one I'll call."
